# Organisations

> Choosing, creating and switching organisations.

After signing in you land in your organisation. An organisation is an isolated space: one cannot see another’s data.

## Switching and creating

The project switcher at the top of the sidebar lists your organisations and the **“Create organisation…”** action. When creating one, enter an identifier (Latin letters, digits, hyphen) and, optionally, a display name — after creation you are switched into it automatically.

## An empty organisation

A new organisation offers to **add a repository**, **connect a connector** or [**create a space without code**](/en/docs/quickstart/space) — that is where the work begins. Connectors and the knowledge base are available in an empty organisation too.
