# Members and roles

Organisations, member roles and repository access — teamwork under control.

## Organisations and roles

Members have the “Owner” or “Member” role. An owner invites, promotes, demotes and removes members.

## Repository access

A member is given the Maintainer or Contributor role on an organisation, project, space or single repository — with fine-grained permissions where needed.

## Single sign-on (SSO)

Staff sign in through the corporate provider over OIDC or SAML 2.0; accounts are created with the right role on first sign-in, and password sign-in can be turned off for members.

## Audit log

Who did what in the organisation, when and from where — including refusals. Entries cannot be edited and are chained by hashes; export to CSV and JSON Lines without limits, available to the owner and by a separate permission.
