Settings
Profile, security, members, repository tokens, billing, the audit log and single sign-on.
Settings open in a dialog. On the left are the account sections, below them the organisation selector and the organisation’s sections: whatever you change always applies to the selected organisation.
- User — your profile.
- Security — changing your password (with a code sent by email); after a change, your other sessions are ended.
- Notifications — push notifications in the browser on this device: switching them on and choosing event types (see Notifications).
- Phone — connecting the Buff app on iPhone or Android with a QR code or with a link and a code, and the “My phones” list with disconnection; the owner also sees “Organisation’s phones” and can forbid phones (see Pairing with the workspace, Access policy).
- Members — the organisation’s members, the Contributor / Maintainer roles, scopes and fine-grained permissions for each member (see Members and permissions).
- Repositories — access tokens to your repository for publishing: they are stored write-only and are never read back; there is an access check and a status indicator. Repositories connected through the connector need no token here — it stays on the agent in your network.
- Billing — balance, plan, models and the history of charges with export to a file (see Plans).
- Audit log — who did what in the organisation, when and from where, including refusals; filters, export to CSV and JSON Lines, an integrity check. Visible to the owner and to members with the audit log permission (see Audit log).
- Single sign-on — connecting a corporate provider over OIDC or SAML 2.0, the company’s domains, creating accounts on first sign-in, “SSO only” mode. Owner only (see Single sign-on).
The knowledge base is a separate section in the left-hand menu, not in the settings. Two things about it relate to settings: passes after finished work and the model’s entries made during work spend tokens on the organisation’s plan, and both can be switched off with a platform setting — write to us; the base itself stays.
